Questions I want to pursue
Research
My direction is evolving around how we generate, judge, and operate visual media—connecting computational perception with the infrastructure that makes video systems dependable.
Generative video
Physically grounded and controllable synthesis, with emphasis on faithful motion, materials, and behavior.
Visual quality & perception
Objective and subjective quality assessment that better reflects how people actually experience visual media.
Video systems
Scalable data, training, evaluation, and serving infrastructure for reliable next-generation media models.
Doctoral research
Computational visual media
I am a PhD student advised by Prof. Alan C. Bovik. My work is supported by LIVE Lab through a collaboration with the YouTube/Google Media Algorithms team led by Dr. Balu Adsumilli.
Earlier research
Vocal Tract & Voice Source Features for Synthetic Speech Detection
Signal-processing features for identifying spoofed speech, developed for the IEEE Signal Processing Cup and presented at ICASSP 2022.
